About Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation
The official fundraising body for the Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary. Donations are invested in child health research, mental health services and family-centred care for children across southern Alberta.
Why the Tallman Giving Fund supports them
The family's largest commitment to a single organization, at more than $5 million. It began with the David Memorial Fund of $180,000, established in memory of Gord and Bev's son, David Gordon Tallman, and grew into $1.825 million donated to the Centre for Child & Adolescent Mental Health with a further $3.9 million pledged by bequest. The hospital's second-floor treatment services carry the name Tallman Family Treatment Services.
