Mount Royal University
A 40-year relationship built on shared commitment to education and community

The Tallman family's relationship with Mount Royal University spans nearly 40 years — from Gord's first introduction through Board Chair Roy Deyell in 1985 to three grandchildren currently attending the university today. It is the family's deepest and most enduring educational partnership.
David's widow attended MRU for two years before transferring to the University of Calgary, where she completed both her undergraduate degree and a master's in social work. This personal connection deepened the family's commitment to supporting MRU students.
